About Families of Autistic Adults Network
Families of Autistic Adults Network (FAAN) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families navigating adulthood and autism.
While much of the autism conversation focuses on early childhood services and interventions, families often face a new set of challenges as their loved ones transition into adulthood. Accessing services, planning for long-term care, supporting independence, and navigating changing systems can feel overwhelming and isolating.
FAAN was created to ensure families are not navigating this stage alone.
Through education, advocacy, and community, FAAN seeks to provide practical guidance and connection for families of autistic adults across the United States.
Rhonda Rainbolt is a certified neurodivergent coach and the founder of the Families of Autistic Adults Network (FAAN). Through coaching and community support, she helps families navigate adulthood with neurodivergent loved ones.
Founder
Families of Autistic Adults Network (FAAN) was founded by Rhonda Rainbolt after years of navigating the realities of adulthood and autism within her own family.
Through that experience, she recognized a gap that many families encounter. While early childhood services and resources are widely discussed, families often find far fewer supports once their loved ones transition into adulthood.
FAAN was created to help ensure families navigating adulthood and autism have access to information, resources, and community beyond the early years.
